A public meeting at Howson Branch Library has been scheduled on April 28, 2009 to get input from West Austin on the 2009 Hazard Mitigation Plan update. Residents are encouraged to attend and share their concerns for potential hazards and ideas for mitigation in their neighborhoods and in Austin at large.
